After serving in Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia, Corporal Shaun Dick has won a new fight inside the ring.

Shaun, from Gallowhill, won his first professional fight over four rounds on points.

The 31-year-old Corporal in The Royal Regiment of Scotland joined the army in 2002 and is hoping to juggle his two careers.

He has boxed for Scotland and the British Army as an amateur boxer but made the move to the professional code after being inspired by watching world champion Carl Frampton fight earlier this year.

Supported by his regiment, he boxed for the Hayfield Boxing Club as a lightweight.
