Lisa has worked in media since 1995 when she joined the team at UKRD’s 106.6 Star FM as a presenter and producer on the Drivetime show.
During her career, Lisa has also been a lecturer in Broadcast Journalism at Lambeth College, East Surrey College and RNIB College in Redhill. As a Director of Broadcast Training Ltd, she helped devise the BTEC Professional Development Certificate in Radio Broadcasting.
In November 2000, Lisa joined BFBS as a presenter and producer. She was a finalist in the New York Radio Awards in 2002 for the Best Personality category for her late show which was transmitted worldwide.
Lisa took on a new role in 2007 as an Event Manager for Yes Events Ltd where she managed a number of concerts featuring artists such as Ronan Keating, Lemar and Tony Hadley.
In 2010, Lisa returned to BFBS as a Project Manager and became Managing Editor for the Gurkha Service in 2012.
For the past nine years, Lisa has worked on the BAFTA Awards. She has also worked on media relations and production projects with many clients including the Orange Prize for Fiction, Johnny Walker, Ford, The British International Motor Show, Forensic Science Service, Britvic, Nivea, Coty, National Lottery, Bentley, Reebok, Office of Fair Trading, FIFA, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Best of Britain and the European Space Agency.
Lisa currently lives in Brunei with her husband and two sons. She works as the Station Manager for the English and Nepali service in Brunei and is also the Managing Editor of the Gurkha Service worldwide.
