My Trafalgar Forces Radio BFBS Original Documentary

“My Trafalgar” explores one of the Royal Navy’s most battle articulate (and flawed) warlords and the way his legacy has impacted serving individuals on The Rock, Gibraltar.

A Warfare Officer, a Submariner, Master at Arms (police) Nursing Officer and the Commanding Officer of the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron, each take themselves back to 1805 to assess their place in that battle.

It’s an emotional listen that shows the loyalty, pride and sense of service that courses through the veins of those serving Sailors, as well as providing an alternative look at the one armed, one eyed warrior, who changed sea going warfare forever.
