Aston Martin has unveiled a limited edition supercar inspired by the RAF's Red Arrows.

The British manufacturer is making 10 Vanquish S vehicles inspired by the famous aerobatic team.

Each will boast special design features, hand-made interiors and graphic elements that draw on the 'visual language of aviation', as well as the 'skill and agility' of the Red Arrows.

Nine will be sold, mirroring the nine-aircraft formation made famous by the Red Arrows, while the 10th is being gifted to the RAF Benevolent Fund, a charity which provides support to former servicemen and women and their families.

They'll also come in 'Eclat Red', mirroring the colour of the Hawk aircraft and referencing the word 'Eclat', the Red Arrows' motto. The announcement was made at the handover of the former RAF St Athan facility in South Wales, soon to become Aston Martin's second manufacturing site in the UK.

It comes after a V12 Vantage S Spitfire 80 Edition was released last year, marking 80 years of the Supermarine Spitfire's first flight, as well as the earlier Vantage S Blades Edition, developed in collaboration with the Blades Aerobatic Display Team.
